This Kinect-Powered Quadropter Is de facto a Flying Predator Alien [Video] Uh oh. I’m unsure who gave the fairway light to move from ” fun and playful” Kinect hacks to ” terrifying Predator-vision drone” Kinect hacks . But after watching this video, it’s clear that that person has clearly doomed us all.

This quadropter uses Kinect as a 3 dimensional radar to track objects, avoid them, and (eventually, I guess) eliminate them with all due force. It’s a healthy reminder you can enjoy watching after your Kinectimals -but they’re watching you right back. [ Engadget ]
