While I’m frightened by the though of iOS taking on the Mac desktop, there are many great iOS apps we’d love to work out ported over to OS X . Weet is one great little Twitter app that’s already made the leap.
Weet is plenty like previously mentioned Itsy , but offers a number of added and extremely welcome features while still keeping a focused, minimalist interface. Weet lets you use multiple accounts, it remembers where you left off on your feed once you restart the app (to keep you from missing any tweets), and makes posting and viewing photos from throughout the app especially simple.
The beta remains just a little buggy, but to this point the one issue I’ve noticed over the last few days is that Weet should be restarted once you lose your internet connection when it’s looking to make an update. It’s very stable and has never crashed, but simple ceases to update-a bug which will likely be worked out pretty quickly as the Weet team looks updating their beta daily, if not more frequently.
Overall, in the event you’re searching for a tiny, simple, well-organized, and straightforward-to-use Twitter app for Mac OS X, Weet is a good choice. While not in its final stages, it’s perfectly usable for a beta. Currently, the beta is available to exploit for gratis.
