Out to prove that last year’s Guitar Hero-style game made out of Christmas lights was no fluke, Ric Turner is back again with Snowball Blaster , an arcade style game where you’re tasked with helping Santa Claus avoid getting hit.
26,000 lights spread across 128 channels are controlled by a PC and the elemental objective of the game is to dodge incoming snowballs, which land in one of three possible spots. Each game adds another 1/2 cent to Turner’s power bill, and he says that there’s an enormous light show when you have the capacity to defeat the game (to this point, no person has) And, as in previous years, you could turn out to be a selected FM station to hear sound effects, and a brief tutorial on the way to play the game.
