When the Apocalypse Happens, You’ll Find Me in My Armored Home [Architecture]

With a bathroom, wood stove and benches, this armored home will probably get you through most disasters-and even perhaps zombies, too. As a matter of fact, as it’s created using steel recycled from ships, an iceberg is its only likely conqueror.

Atelier Van Lieshout is the designer behind this portable-tank of a dwelling, that’s being exhibited until the 13th of March at Cite de la Science in Paris. Would you favor to wander inside, and take a peek at my future apocalypse-nest?

I know the bench doesn’t look that comfy, but with a bed of now-useless banknotes it’s really snuggly. Honest! [ Dezeen ]
