Vogue cover girls . Pretty sexy, non? Except once you layer them on top of one another digitally, to get the year’s average. Suddenly, you find yourself ogling something resembling the Turin Shroud.
It’s really interesting when it gets broken down country-by-country, too. Australia’s covers are likely to use plenty of pink, whereas the Italian cover is lots darker. The German cover seems to have more close-up cover-girls, but over inside the Latin American photography studio, they seem to favor girls with one arm on their hips.
I’m unsure this says plenty about society, fashion, Photoshop or the changing seasons-but I do find how one brand differs so much between countries very interesting. [ LiveJournal via @ EvaWiseman via @ IsabelleOC ]
