Jay Maynard , better referred to as TRON Guy , intended on wearing his famous light-up costume to a showing of TRON: Legacy recently, but his local movie theater refused to admit him. What in the world do they have got against awkward costumes?
Basically what happened is that Maynard called a Minnesota theater ahead to let them know that he was going to wear his costume only to hear that he does not be allowed to look at the movie in it because it’s ” too distracting.”
You would think that any theater can be happy to have TRON Guy appear. What is incorrect with those people in Minnesota? [ TMZ via Time ]
