Ny Feels like an Apocalypse Movie At once [Image Cache] It’s only some feet of snow, but that’s how Long island looks directly. People consider this The Snowpocalypse but, while it seems like Yeti zombies are going to look at anytime, it’s nothing compared to this:

That, my friends, is real snow.

Ny Feels like an Apocalypse Movie At once [Image Cache] This one is from Japan , taken on the whole island of Honshu.

After cursing the weather yesterday and today, these photos style of make me feel like a wimp. But even so, the blizzard yesterday was scary. I was coming from Madrid at night and the landing-preceded by a 45-minute flyover delay-was terrifying. I had to come back to my home within the subway because all roads were collapsed, even while there was barely a number of inches of snow in them.

Now I look like trapped at home. I’m searching through my window and my street is absolutely white. There’s no traffic, and the parked cars are half covered with snow. How a city like Big Apple can get to this state, especially once they knew the blizzard was coming, I am going to never understand. [ Yfrog via Twitter ]
