Now Microsoft Is Making a collection-Top TV Box? [Iptv]

Not content to relax while Apple, Google, Roku, Boxee et.al. wade the murky waters of internet television, Microsoft will blow their own horns a Windows-based connected TV box at CES this year, in keeping with the Seattle Times.

Brier Dudley says the boxes will are available under the $200 price point and should run a stripped-down version of Windows, centered around the Media Center interface. Like Google TV, these new boxes will try to integrate standard television with online content under a single UI.
