Because technically, Apple and Verizon aren’t showing a new product ; just a variant of an old one. That’s the theory offered up by Apple know-it-all Jim Dalrymple on TechCrunch. I’m comfortable with that theory.
Dalrymple says that Apple is avoiding the same old media cycle of product speculation by letting Verizon take the reigns on this. Common-sense dictates that if Apple were going to have something completely new, they’d do it under their own roof.
