NASA’s HD iPad app is an awesome creation, so it’s great to peer the gap people finally bring something to Android. However it’s not one of its most enjoyable creations, instead offering a mobile version of its NASA Spinoff portal.
If you can still live with the app’s bizarre purple layout-inspired by the Crab Nebula ?-there’s an excellent amount of content in here. A timeline of NASA innovations is nice for boning up on what it’s been up to since it was founded in 1958, plus there’s a straightforward Google Maps tab showing where many NASA inventions could be found around you today. Plus there’s an occasionally updated news feed.
NASA Spinoff is on the Android Market right away and doesn’t cost anything. [ NASA Spinoff ]
