Pay to your Starbucks Addiction by Waving Your Cellphone [Coffee]

Pay to your Starbucks Addiction by Waving Your Cellphone [Coffee] Earlier today I guzzled down not one, but two of those gigantic new Starbucks Trenta cups filled with iced tea. Had I waited a chunk, i’ll’ve paid for those drinks by waving my cellphone.

Up until recently, Starbucks mobile payments -payments done using the BlackBerry or iOS Starbucks apps-could only be done in select locations. Now Starbucks is offering this particular payment option in all US company-operated stores.

Basically all you’ll do load up your Starbucks Card, download an app, and let your favorite barista scan a barcode generated by that app when buying something.

You can download the BlackBerry version of the app here and the iPhone version here . Android lovers seem like out of luck for now.
