Created for The same old Hotel in Big Apple by Brooklyn-based artist KAWS, these limited edition lightbulbs, available in a group of three colors, shouldn’t ever be obscured by a lampshade. But move quick: they’re only selling 1,000 of them.

The Standard is the third hotel owned by André Balazs Properties to get the custom bulbs, after Chateau Marmont and The Mercer:

The Standard’s special lightbulbs, unveiled last night, may also be picked up at The normal Hotel shop or online for $65. Apparently they’re moving fast; I made guaranteed to buy mine before I published this post. [ Notcot , Images: Notcot]
