Clean Your Toilet with Kool-Aid [MacGyver Tip] We’ve noted so that you can clean your dishwasher with Kool-Aid before, but home-centric blog Apartment Therapy notes which you could also use it to get stains out of your toilet, too.

Whether you only don’t have time for a deep clean or you don’t need to fill your bathroom with the smell of bleach, it turns out somewhat citrus-flavored Kool-Aid will do the trick in a pinch:

Although lemon works great, take a look at the ingredients in orange… it’s the citric acid that helps to scrub your bowl! All you must do is sprinkle the contents of the package in before you head to bed, swirl it around with a bathroom bowl brush, and let it sit over night. The acid inside the drink mix will go to work cleaning away tough stains and increase when you don’t have the simplest water conditions.

Plus, they mention, it won’t kill your dog when you have the sneaky, toilet-drinking type. It’s a beautiful nice trick in case you go to scrub the toilet and find you’re out of bleach. Got any other favorite clever household cleaners? Share them with us inside the comments.
