Old Lady Tries to Smuggle 44 iPhone 4s Through Airport Security in Her Stockings [IPhone]

Old Lady Tries to Smuggle 44 iPhone 4s Through Airport Security in Her Stockings [IPhone] Last week, at Israel’s Ben-Gurion International Airport, security officials stopped a 60-year-old woman who were moving erratically through airport security . She said she was feeling sick. Not true! She actually had 44 iPhone 4s stuffed down her pants.

According to Irasel-based Hareetz:

Last week’s would-be smartphone smuggler was reportedly dressed in a conventional Georgian outfit and walking with difficulty, which drew the notice of customs officials. Once they approached the Israeli woman, she claimed she was not feeling well.

They agreed to accompany her, but told her she must first pass in the course of the full-body scanner. The officials were amazed find that, under the whole wrappings of the normal dress, the girl had hidden no fewer than 44 iPhones in her stockings. She was later released and a call shall be made this week on whether to indict her or to send her before the committee that determines fines.

Precisely why I take the train once I’m smuggling stuff in my stockings. [ Hareetz via MSNBC ]
