Google Latitude: Now Yet another Place To examine In [Apps]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=IVLsRo7-3Lk# Google Latitude has been around for a couple of years now, but today it’s finally fulfilled its destiny as yet one more place you will register online. You know, when you’ve already hit up Yelp, Foursquare, and Facebook.

The feature is offered in Maps 5.1 for Android, and contours automatic check-ins, in addition as check-outs for while you leave a location. There’s not much else here which you could’t find in other check-in services, though, and there’s no incentive program yet to keep you coming back. iOS Latitude users will be able to see the updates of their Android counterparts, but won’t be able to register anywhere themselves just yet.

Is it a pleasing feature to add? Sure! But feels like it’s mostly recommended either for die-hard current Latitude users, or those who just love telling as most of the people as they are able to as often as they could about as many places they’ve been to as they may be able to. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. [ Google ]
