Soviet Safety Posters Were Terrifying and Slightly Hilarious [Imagecache]

Soviet Safety Posters Were Terrifying and Slightly Hilarious [Imagecache] Working in any hazardous factory isn’t a treat, but no less than you aren’t met with these horrifying posters, which make it appear as if you will be impaled or electrocuted at any moment . That hair-in-drill one feels like it REALLY HURTS.

Of course, work safety is serious business, and I’d preferably be freaked out by a poster than get ground into a puddle of mush by a Soviet pneumatic press. The designs themselves are also pretty wonderful-stuff now found on museum walls in place of (blood-spattered?) Russian factories. [ English Russia via BuzzFeed ]
