This prototype LG Revolution could be the only Android phone actually in a position to streaming Netflix in the intervening time, but there’s nothing keeping you from giving it a go — some enterprising hacker extracted an entire system dump from the Revolution this week, tossed it to AndroidSPIN, and @al3xsmith subsequently pulled out the juicy Netflix innards. The app’s APK is now freely available on the net, though we’ll alert you that it isn’t good for far — you may browse and add items on your queue, but must you try and play a video the app will tell you that it “couldn’t reach the Netflix service.” The question is, will Netflix simply flip a switch, or is it looking forward to DRM authentication from a Qualcomm MSM8655 processor ?
