The results were certainly tough to disclaim, and now Skype has come forward and acknowledged that there’s indeed a slightly serious vulnerability in Skype for Android that may let malicious third-party applications access your own information. Unfortunately, it’s not offering much else inside the way of help just yet, with it saying only that that’s “working quickly” to guard folks from the vulnerability, and they should simply be careful of third-party apps meanwhile.
