White iPhone 4 used to demo new multitasking, Spotlight search in ‘test version’ of iOS? (video)

We’ve just laid eyes on a video from the prolific leaksters over at Tinhte , who claim they not just have a white iPhone 4 from Apple, nevertheless it’s one with a “test version” of iOS that no-one else has yet seen. It’s difficult to examine how legitimate this software is — it can just be a neatly done jailbreak mod — but that site has a track record of having its hands on Apple gear before the pack. With that said, the multitasking menu shown here substitutes the present use of apps’ icons to symbolize them with a visible of every app’s open window. You are able to tap on a window to expand it (replete with animation) to fill the screen or long-press on it to raise the familiar “x” button for shutting it down. Here’s all accompanied by a brand new “Search iPhone” dialog on the very top, which sends you into Spotlight search that appears greatly how it currently does (though it kind of feels to not be accessible with a left swipe from the 1st homescreen as on previous versions of iOS). Jump past the break for the video.

The 1st one may only amount to a MiFi housed within the dash (although that does come standard), but automaker Proton and Malaysian carrier Yes appear to have some fairly grand designs on 4G-connected cars.
