DS Lite discontinued at GameStop

We caught wind of an internal GameStop memo this morning announcing the discontinuation of Nintendo’s DS Lite . The memo (pictured above) asks employees to take away displays of Crimson, Black, and Metallic Rose models, when they’ve burned through their stock — we’ve since confirmed the reality with an employee of the gaming chain. Not an incredible shocker, needless to say, given the truth that the five-year-old system has since been eclipsed by 2009′s DSi and, more recently, the corporate’s glasses-free 3D portable, the 3DS . We’ve reached out to Nintendo for touch upon the problem and can update this post with official word once received.

This tallies… »

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). The ViewPad G70, which might be a follow-as much as that budget-friendly E70 we showed you at CES, is rumored to hold a touch heavier $350 price ticket than its sibling. While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
