Panasonic’s Gyutto e-bike has room for 2, actually even three

Okay, so the pic only shows one child seat in this new power-assisted bike from Panasonic, however the designers reckon fit another one at the back. It’s called the Gyutto and it packs some nifty technology to make it safe for a trio. For a start, to stop the bike toppling in case you park up, the kickstand activates a lock at the handle bar, making front wheel rigid. And to maintain you travelling inside the right direction up a steep hill, the 8Ah lithium-ion battery delivers some high-torque power assist, good for 36km on a single charge — better than some others . Talking about steep, the cost will exercise session at around $1,780 (including both child seats) when the bike is released in Japan on May 23rd. The identical money gets you a Mini version with smaller (20-inch) wheels. It’s rather a lot to spend on a few ungrateful rugrats, but a minimum of you won’t must pump those pedals so hard.
