Microsoft’s home of the longer term lulls teens to sleep with Tweets (video)

Microsoft Home is a form of “world of tomorrow” for the pc nerd set where Surface takes where of video phones and dinner pills. The best difference is that, unlike those World’s Fair staples, Redmond’s vision of the not-so-distant future isn’t open to the general public. It is a private testing ground where researchers can attempt concepts, like an eye that records health data and syncs it together with your home network or a media center that may analyze video and identify products and locations featured on screen. You can not have the ability to swing by the campus and visit, but you may catch a glimpse of suburban life in 2025 — populated by touchscreen wireless charging trays and interactive walls — within the video after the break. We’ll take all of it, except the wallpaper — we don’t need #winning Tweets floating overhead while we attempt to get some shut-eye.

As well as providing a WiFi hotpot for passengers, they eventually hope to exploit the 4G connectivity for a number of automotive-related applications, including vehicle… »
