Microsoft near buying Skype for greater than $7 billion?

Following rumors of Facebook and Google eyeing on a deal to accumulate Skype , we’ve a brand new contender who’s none rather than the beast from Redmond, Microsoft. In line with the Wall Street Journal’s sources, Team Ballmer and the VoIP company are on the final stages of a negotiation that’s worth greater than a whooping $7 billion, and so they may be making a press release once Tuesday. Because this figure shall be a brand new record for Microsoft lately, it’s clear that Ballmer’s very excited about securing this popular VoIP service for his own amusement — perhaps Windows Phone will eventually include integrated Skype features? Or perhaps he just desires to fit in some ads between our calls? Only time will tell, and for the sake of Redmond, hopefully nothing turns sour between now and tomorrow.
