Google TV getting Android 3.1 and Market this summer: Sony, Vizio, Samsung and Logitech onboard

Google just announced at I/O that the Google TV could be upgraded to Android 3.1 this summer, with access to the Market coming “soon.” In line with Mike Cleron from the Android Development team, developers shall be capable of use the vanilla Honeycomb SDK to construct apps for Google TV, and likewise announced hardware partners will include Samsung, Vizio, Logitech and Sony (as seen after the break) — no word on holdouts like Toshiba.
