Blast at Intel’s Arizona plant injures seven, investigation under way

Yesterday afternoon, a blast occurred at Intel’s Arizona plant just outside Phoenix, injuring seven those with one stricken by severe burns. In line with Phoenix Business Journal, the incident came about in a solvent waste consultation room at Fab 22 — not faraway from Fab 32 for you to be manufacturing 22nm chips — but Intel Vp Josh Walden assured us that “there has been no damage or release of chemicals to the community,” and production has already resumed in both facilities.
