We went hands-on with a brand new extension (and accompanying Android app) called MightyText, a free notification service launched today that syncs your phone’s texts and calls on your computer in real-time. The belief is crazy simple, yet adds unyielding convenience: incoming SMS messages appear for your screen as a pop-up, providing you with the choice to read and respond to them without touching and even taking a look at the telephone. The entire extension will show each conversation thread in its entirety, in addition to call logs.
When sent from the pc, texts are still patched through out of your phone number, so your colleagues will still see your messages coming through together with your name on them. All in all, this actual Chrome extension was a slightly useful approach to managing texts and calls.
That isn’t to assert it was perfect, because the program’s still in beta and getting a standard dose of updates, but it surely still ran very smooth.
