Another day, another record profit from the folk at HTC. Surely even the Taiwanese handset manufacturer have to be bored of reporting this endless stream of excellent news , right? Yeah, not really. The corporate happily announced this week a powerful second quarter net income of NT$17.5 billion ($608 million), greater than double what it reported for a similar period of time the year prior. Overall revenue for the quarter hit NT$124.4 billion, owing to the ever-present demand for Android handsets. And revenue from the corporate is anticipated to maintain on growing in Q3 — maybe boredom isn’t so bad in any case.
