Comcast’s Xfinity TV app made its tablet debut at the iPad last year and now it’s finally ready for Android tablets too. The newest update at the Android market adds a Honeycomb version with handheld remote control and video on-demand browsing seen above (only officially certified for the Xoom, but it surely should work on others to boot) — but not Play Now streaming , yet — and likewise should fix the app on phones running Gingerbread. iOS users haven’t been completely overlooked, as a minor bump have been issued that needs to fix a number of technical issues on those platforms too.
