We’re definitely expecting Samsung to announce a Galaxy S II launch within the US, especially given Samsung Mobile President Shin Jong-kyun’s promise of a release ” sometime in August ” — consisting of that intriguing II graphic within the invite up top. We even have on good authority that the S II may be launching on several carriers straight away, which likely explains why Samsung is putting at the show, in place of deferring to a single partner.
