East Coast earthquake brings down mobile phone, landline service (update: restored)

You’ve probably already examine the 5.8 magnitude earthquake that affected the Eastern Seaboard of the us, and now we’re hearing reports that the quake brought down some landline and cellular phone service in Ny, together with other cities at the East Coast. We’ve been unable to position calls in Ny city using AT&T and Sprint smartphones, in addition to office landlines. Are you experiencing issues to boot? Tell us within the comments.
