In line with the Wall Street Journal, apparently quite likely that giant Red won’t be interested in Samsung’s anticipated launch event this coming Monday. The publication cites people accustomed to the plans, who also mentioned that we must always still expect to peer the Galaxy S II make its solution to Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T at least. We’re still awaiting official confirmation from Verizon at the matter and could update after we receive word.

Update: We just heard from a Verizon spokesperson who confirmed the carrier may not be carrying the device, and offered here quote: “We now have a powerful portfolio of devices that supply customers exciting options including the Droid Charge by Samsung which runs on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network.”
