iOS 5 beta 7 goes live for developers

Well, you cannot say Cupertino isn’t being consistent. Kind of like last time, Apple’s gone and released a brand new beta of iOS 5, under two weeks after the last one . Not much of interest pops out of build 9A5313E’s release notes, but we’d presume it squashes a good share of bugs. Hit up settings to start the roughly 70MB OTA update , or test those browser downloading skills on the dev portal linked below. And if you are there, you should definitely snag updated versions of Xcode, iTunes, and an updated firmware for the second one-generation AppleTV . Peep a screenshot of the OTA after the break and tell us the way you fare in comments.

[Thanks, Darren]

This tallies… »

Word in the street is ViewSonic's on the brink of unveil a fresh, ICS-equipped 7-inch tablet at MWC (together with everyone else). The ViewPad G70, which might be a follow-as much as that budget-friendly E70 we showed you at CES, is rumored to hold a touch heavier $350 price ticket than its sibling. While the slate's best feature might be Google's 4.0 treat , ViewSonic's… »
