London Philharmonic Orchestra goes cover band with tribute to game themes

If you have ever caught yourself humming the Angry Birds theme song, then perhaps you ought to look into tonight’s London Philharmonic Orchestra’s game tribute concert. The gang will play greater than 20 songs made famous by games like Tetris, Zelda, Call of Duty and naturally, Mario Bros., as portion of London’s annual music festival. When asked to create the final word gaming remix, composer and arranger Andrew Skeet vowed to maintain it oldschool, while giving folks the most efficient bits of music. It isn’t the primary time someone’s paid tribute to those hits, and we’re hoping it isn’t the last. Take a look at the complete setlist and video after the break.
