As with all version of Windows, the Metro-slathered Win 8 has a type of oh so familiar Blue Screen of Death thingies. But, this time around, there is a change. Gone are the confusing and uninformative error codes, and as a substitute you get an equally uninformative sad emoticon. OK, there’s also some text informing you that your PC is ready to reboot, however still doesn’t get you any toward tracking down the foundation of the issue. Well, a minimum of it’s little less cutesy than the sorrowful Mac (though, no less infuriating).
