It’s pronounced “twerp,” but don’t mistake TeamWin’s Recovery Project for a run-of-the-mill chump. The software is meant as a touchscreen replacement for ROM managers including TWRP 1.0 and ClockworkMod Recovery. As well as the all-important backup, restore and install functions, the utility now provides a whole GUI for touch input that’s fully customizable with XML themes. As a selected boon, developers may have the choice to design custom installation processes unique to their particular ROMs, that is a pleasing (though very metaphorical) cherry on top. As you’d expect, the software supports both phones and tabs, and in case you are interested to look more, just check the whole demo video after the break. In line with the developer, the utility still needs some work before it’s ready for top time, but it’s rather nice to look the crowd stay productive because it matures.
