Apple: 250 million iOS devices sold, 18 billion apps downloaded

One of the glut of numbers popping out of the Apple keynote today, delaying the reveal of your next iPhone, was a very impressive one: 250 million. That is the variety of iOS devices sold. That’s 250 million iPhones and iPads inside the wild worldwide, running a grand total of 18 billion apps between them, that have netted developers a whopping $3 billion. That women and gentlemen, is nothing to smell at.
