Between your bell, safety lights and cycling computer there’s not really much room left on those handlebars for more stuff. But, if you are bored with having to talk as much as converse together with your riding partner, perhaps you’ll clear a bit real estate for the HIOD One. This Bluetooth communicator means that you can seek advice from your fellow cyclists from as much as 1,300 feet away and will be used to put phone calls and hear music for your phone. The control panel mounts for your handlebars, however the “wireless” voice unit is a bulky box best worn on an armband or clipped on your chest. While the voice unit isn’t hardwired to the controller, it does require you to plug in an earpiece and microphone to exploit it. Though the HIOD One has officially launched, there isn’t a price yet because the company remains searching for retail partners to essentially sell the device. Halmstad, Sweden, 2011-10-04: The brand new cycling product HIOD One launches today. It simplifies communication between cyclists. The user may also control his/her cell phone and stream music through HIOD One. HIOD One provides a social experience in a person sport.
PalTalk is the main feature of HIOD Person who enables cyclists to speak hundreds of meters apart. The user can communicate with five other Pals, one after the other.
Mobile & Music. With HIOD One the user can easily control a cellular phone to make and receive phone calls in addition to stream music while cycling.
Safety & Control. An intuitive design makes HIOD One easy to apply when focus is essential. The control unit with its high contrast OLED display is hooked up to the handlebar for safety and supreme control.
Sound & Design. The noise reduction delivers clear communication even in high speed and robust winds. HIOD One is designed to give cyclists with maximum comfort and tremendous sound.
HIOD One is developed by Free2move in Sweden. CEO Per-Arne Wiberg says: “Even supposing cycling is a constantly evolving high technology sport, the communication between riders has not developed much during the last decades.
