Deezer goes global, streaming music service coming to over 100 new countries

Many of us here within the good ol’ usa are accustomed to streaming music services like Pandora, Rhapsody and Spotify , but will not be aware that Deezer dishes out tunes to these around the pond. Just last month it launched a mobile service on Orange, France’s largest carrier, and now the company’s seeking to gain a miles larger geographic footprint. Deezer plans to launch in over 100 more countries within the near future, and is inside the technique of partnering up with a number of alternative telcos to do it. It’s taking an unusual method to expansion, going for aurally under served areas rather than joining the fray within the biggest music markets within the US and Japan — Indonesians and Brazilians gotta get down on Friday too, . The cause of doing so? Acquiring rights within the US is hard (and dear), but global licenses are easier to come back by, which lets the Deezer diaspora occur by the dozen. So rejoice music lovers worldwide, you will soon be capable to get your Deezer on.
