Amazon’s gift card restriction patent: puts some thought to your otherwise thoughtless present

All of us have that one friend or member of the family that’s nigh impossible to buy, whether the reason is, they have got everything or like nothing. Gift cards are the fast and dirty technique to this gifting conundrum, but what once you don’t trust that special someone to make a purchase order you would be proud to name your present? Never fear, Amazon is here… with a brand new patent that permits you to, the gift-giver, control which of the retailer’s wares can be purchased with its gift cards. For sure, those that aren’t such control freaks can simply have the cardboard make purchase recommendations instead. Plus, this gift card of tomorrow also can tell you what was bought with the cardboard to provide you some insight for future gifting occasions. Maybe then you can actually give your mother-in-law something she’ll like, as opposed to only some repurposed retail cash.
