Didn’t get the AppleCare+ together with your iPhone? Worry not, you currently have 30 days to switch your mind

AppleCare+, Cupertino’s latest protection plan , debuted at the same day the iPhone 4S was unveiled, but anyone desperate to reap the benefits of both-year warranty and accidental damage coverage was required to fork out a further $99 while they bought their phone. While Apple allowed early adopters to purchase the service until November 14th because they weren’t offered it upon pre-ordering, it seems that the company’s extended that window until December 15th, consistent with an internal memo leaked to SprintFeed. What’s better, it appears that Apple’s softening up its policy for everybody else in the course of the holidays, because the company now offers a 30-day window just should you walk out of the shop along with your glass-laden treasure unprotected and alter your mind later. Apple’s site confirms the policy (shown below), but as always, there is a catch: in case you prefer to get it after point of purchase, you will have to either call up Apple directly or schedule a Genius Bar appointment, bring your receipt in and feature the telephone inspected to be sure it isn’t already damaged. Appears like lots to do, but just be sure to use that Reminders app to maintain track of all of it.
