Researchers print a completely-functional OLED control circuit using an inkjet

Don’t be concerned, this is not about teaching bacteria easy methods to climb out of a petri dish and follow a subway map. The image above actually shows an OLED display control circuit that was quickly and cost effectively manufactured due to the fun of inkjet printing . Its makers at UCLA start-up Aneeve Nanotechnologies also claim their carbon nanotube circuit yields better performance than traditional silicon counterparts and will therefore be considered a competing technology. Then again, it is usually true that inkjet circuitry was around in various forms for years, so we must return to the essential question: do we ever have the ability to afford considered one of these ?
