Toyota FCV-R concept brings fuel cell cars towards reality, aiming for 2015 launch

Amongst the numerous concept EVs we have seen on the Tokyo Motor Show this week, Toyota thinks that fuel cell vehicles still have a gamble. Hence the above cool-looking FCV-R, an exact functional hydrogen car featuring a multi-LCD panel dashboard in conjunction with a driving range of around 700km or 435 miles. Alas, interested buyers must wait until around 2015 before Toyota launches its first fuel cell car, that is currently projected to price around $125,000. And naturally, there isn’t any saying on whether hydrogen fuel stations would be widely available around the nation by then.
