ASUS delays Transformer Prime’s release until WiFi fix is located

In the event you were hoping to get you hands on a Transformer Prime this month , prepare to be disappointed. After hearing rumors of the ASUS slate’s delay by way of Wifi issues, we’ve now received confirmation from ASUS Canada via one among our tipsters. The corporate says that “the WiFi range at the TF201 didn’t meet our quality standards” and that it’ll not release the product until the wireless is as much as snuff. So as to combat the problem, ASUS “may be implementing a brand new solution,” though it declined to elaborate on what the answer can be. Naturally, no timetable for the Transformer Prime’s release was provided either. So, in case you jumped at the pre-order, tell us if you’ve heard the identical song and dance from ASUS within the comments below.

[Thanks, George]

Update: We’re aware that ASUS US has said that the Transformer Prime release continues to be on schedule. We’ve reached out to the corporate and we’re awaiting word at the issue.
