Razer just put a bit of coal in gamers’ Christmas stockings with news that its hotly-anticipated Tiamat 7.1 surround sound headset was delayed. Originally expected in Q4, its iteration date is sometime in January. To recap, $180 gets you an unusual five drivers in each ear, including three dedicated left and right ones, together with a subwoofer and “center” channel on all sides. There’s the obligatory mic, at the side of an inline control that permits you to adjust volume levels for every channel. So, will the the additional drivers make much of a difference during your next Modern Warfare 3 firefight? Tell us.
