The Joby Gorillabike
While we wouldn’t recommend hopping on this bike without lots of padding, this cute creation was made to decorate Joby’s PMA booth. It’s made of the same stuff used to make Joby’s Gorilla gear. The beads, obviously, will fold over and bend into odd positions, wich makes riding this bike that much harder.

PlayStation Move Only Needs 1-2MB Of System Memory

The PlayStation Move certainly looks like an interesting device, though we’re fairly sure that many of you out there are wondering how demanding it will be on the console hardware, after all, we wouldn’t want to be stuck with laggy games, right? Well, it seems that there is good news, as in a recent interview, Sony Worldwide Studios VP, Scott Rohde, mentioned that the overhead of the PlayStation Move is insignificant, and the folks over at Joystiq are indicating that the figure is about 1-2MB of RAM, which is certainly good news, especially since the PS3 only has about 256MB of RAM, albeit fast XDR memory. Do you have any unanswered questions regarding the PlayStation Move?

Audio Lounger Concept Looks Desirable

We certainly don’t mind tech seeping into our everyday items, and the Audio Lounger concept certainly looks like one of those things we wouldn’t mind making room for. It sports four built-in high quality speakers and a (rather noticeable) large subwoofer, not to mention a touchscreen panel on the upper side of the seat to keep you in touch with your favorite music. This design by Matt Hardman also includes LED lights that offer ambient light that can be set with a range of colors, giving this concept lounger a futuristic look. Now we only have to wait for someone to mass produce this.

Instant film isn’t dead – it’s just weird and expensive
The Polaroid saga is a long and strange one. And the last couple years have been especially strange. Bankrupt, reanimated, relaunched, sold out, bought up… I wouldn’t be surprised if Polaroid showed up on Dancing With The Stars.
They keep saying they’re coming back, but I’ll believe it when I see it. In the mean time, your options for instant film are depressingly limited, and it’ll cost you a bundle — but it’s not like it disappeared completely.
Tecmo Bowl Throwback due for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network
It’s Tecmo Bowl, but on your Xbox 360 or PS3. And without the NFL-licensed players and teams. But with a 3D-style look and feel! You can go old-school and play in 2D mode, too.
Magtenlight: Magnetically Powered Bicycle Lights

Dynamo lights certainly aren’t something new to bicycles, but they rely on the physical contact with a spinning wheel to keep it powered, which is well and good, but surely there’s a more interesting way to get the job done? Well, the Magtenlight might just be able to do that. It uses 28 magnets attached to the bike’s spokes, so as they pass by the Magtenlight in the center, power is generated and the lights will be lit, all done without any physical contact or friction. There are 2 lights included in the setup, and if you’re traveling at around 9mph, they’re rated at 15 lux each. There’s also a small battery in the Magtenlight, which can store additional power for up to 4 minutes, coming in handy when you’re stationary at the traffic lights. This would certainly be a cool replacement to your current dynamo, wouldn’t it?

Let’s talk about Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Most of your friendly neighborhood CrunchGear writers have played Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for at least a little bit. We have different opinions about the game, but I think we all like it to a degree. I bought it for two reason: the Eurogamer review was glowing, and I wanted to support Modern Warfare 2’s most direct competitor. Genres grow stale when one game/publisher so utterly dominates it, so $50 EA’s way hopefully will go toward keeping the FPS genre as fresh as it can be. I mean, there’s but so many ways you can make “put-cursor-over-man’s-face-and-left-click” before you’re like, “Man, I’m bored, let’s go bowling.”
Patriot shows off a monster 40 SSD-equipped computer
Say what you will, but $60k seems like a fair price for such a beast. Patroit recorded 155,000 IOPS/s on the computer. I ran the same test on my 5400 RPM notebook drive and got 401. Just think, you wouldn’t have to wait for file transfers anymore, game levels would load nearly instantly, and Windows would boot faster than Chrome OS. (maybe) But then again it costs more than most a convertible Corvette and you might not like the type of ladies the computer attracts.
A one stop shop for all your MBP lid and iMac chin decal needs
Got a MacBook Pro or iMac that needs a little customizing? Head over to this Etsy store for a bunch of lid and chin graphics. We’ve seen a few of these over the years, but there are a bunch that are at least brand new to me, including a Goatse decal that’s not library appropriate and a Scarface-themed decal that will make all your bros jealous.
JakPak converts from jacket to emergency shelter
Assuming this is durable, this is just the type of emergency shelter I could see using myself. The JakPak turns from an all-weather jacket into a portable shelter by unzipping into a basic bivy sack. It’s a given that it wouldn’t be terribly comfortable, but in a survival situation who cares about comfort.
Mac Developer License Drops To $99 A Year

If you’re a Mac developer, Apple has some rather good news for you, as the fruity company has lowered its Mac developer license price to $99, which is a steep drop from the original entry point of $499. There is a downside to this though, as Mac hardware discounts are notably missing, though it’s probably a valid argument that the $400 price drop is also a discount. While this is good news for the developers, is there anything in it for the end user? It’s a long (very long) shot, but some parties are speculating that Apple might be considering an App Store for Mac. Considering the incredible success Apple has had with the App Store on the iPhone, it wouldn’t be too far fetched to think that Apple might just want to do the same for its Macs. What do you think?

Is Samsung launching portable Blu-ray players tonight?
Samsung might be joining Panasonic in offering portable Blu-ray players if a Ben Lyons twoot is to be believed. Let me quote, “I just partnered w/ Samsung & they asked me 2 host an event in NYC tonight for their new line of portable Blue-Ray players that are amazing!” Interested? We are.
